DROP22 is a newly formed 501(c)(3) (Pending) Nonprofit organization. Our only GOAL is to help Military Vets and First Responders to recover from addiction. The idea and formation of DROP22 was created while one of our board members was living in sober living, so we know first hand the struggles, and what it takes to stay clean for a better life.

The Focus of Our Efforts Provide
Service dogs are specially trained to assist people with disabilities in their daily activities, and they have been shown to provide significant benefits to their handlers. Here are some statistics related to service dogs:
According to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), service dogs are allowed to accompany their handlers in all areas where the public is allowed to go, including businesses, restaurants, and other public places.
Service dogs can be trained to assist people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual impairments, hearing impairments, mobility impairments, seizures, diabetes, and mental health conditions.
There is no official registry or certification process for service dogs in the United States, but they must be individually trained to perform specific tasks for their handlers.
According to a study published in the Journal of Rehabilitation Research and Development, service dogs have been shown to improve the quality of life and independence of people with disabilities, as well as reduce their reliance on other forms of assistance.
The cost of acquiring and training a service dog can vary widely, ranging from a few thousand dollars to tens of thousands of dollars, depending on the organization providing the dog and the level of training required.
Overall, service dogs have proven to be a valuable resource for people with disabilities, providing them with greater independence, mobility, and quality of life.
Magnetic Resonance Therapy (MRT) is a non-invasive medical treatment that uses magnetic fields to stimulate certain areas of the brain to promote healing. It is also known as Magnetic Therapy, Magnetic Field Therapy, or PEMF (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field) Therapy.
The therapy involves applying magnetic fields to the brain using devices that emit low-frequency electromagnetic waves. These waves penetrate the brain and stimulate cells and tissues, improving blood flow and increasing the production of certain chemicals and proteins that aid in the healing process. Two of the symptoms it helps with healing is PTS and depression. This is a huge advantage to our Vets and First Responders recovering from addiction. This is one tool we take advantage of to help drop the 22 a day.
Sober living gives our Vets and First Responders a little more sobriety under their belt before they step back into the community.
Sober living homes, also known as sober houses or halfway houses, are transitional residences designed to help individuals recovering from addiction to drugs or alcohol. While there is limited research on the effectiveness of sober living, some studies suggest that it can be an effective tool for supporting long-term sobriety.
Here are a few statistics on sober living homes:
A study published in the Journal of Psychoactive Drugs found that individuals who lived in sober living homes for six months or more had significantly higher rates of abstinence from drugs and alcohol, as well as greater improvements in employment and education compared to those who did not live in a sober living environment.
A report from the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) found that individuals who participated in sober living homes were less likely to relapse and had greater success in achieving long-term recovery compared to those who did not participate in this type of supportive housing.
